Any straight type pipe is much louder, the Raask is a quality double wall design so the sound is out the back for the most part. The other one I know of is made for Highway Hawk and is single wall and is loud all the way along the pipe, but it has a much larger ID so if other modifications were made it would probably provide more high RPM HP but not improve the low RPM torque much. I use the used Raask I have as header for a HD GlassPac muffler. I cut about a foot off and the muffler slides in the outer pipe and over the inner one. No clamp needed and it looks and sounds great. Performance is great at all speeds, it pulls well from about 35 in 5th all the way to my limit of 80. The "muffler" is a 3 disc baffle arrangment about a foot long more than a muffler. I sure it would quiet it down a lot, but only by effectively reducing the outlet size and exhaust flow.
